Victoria Dark, bio

Victoria Dark has worked for a major  oil company and also, while living near the coast of Louisiana, she worked as office managed for a tractor/trailer sales (she sold semis down by the seashore).

After her first short story was published by a popular mystery  magazine, she began seriously pursuing a writing career. Since then, along with many short fiction pieces and articles, she has published several romance novels, which include  contemporary, historical, historical humor, and historical suspense.  She has also served as a judge for both Regional and National Romance Writers of America (RWA) Contests.

Because she always has an opinion, editing seemed like a natural career step. She does freelance editing for several e-book publishers and is an associate editor at a hardcover house.

When not reading, writing, or editing, she is busy helping to run her and her favorite cowboy’s “organic” cow farm. All feed is natural grain or hay, with no steroids and no growth hormones. And she says the stuff she scrapes off the soles of her boots is about as organic as you can get.
